Using Lenovo Tablets

A Lenovo tablet may be small in size but it is big in features. It offers most of the features of a laptop computer. Besides, you can use the stylus for note taking in almost all applications. The process is known as "inking". The stylus can select objects on the screen in the same manner as a mouse. The stylus can be used for clicking, double clicking, dragging, dropping and right clicking; however, it may take some time before you get used to it. The cap of the stylus acts as an eraser to rub out your writings.

Every tablet PC comes with preinstalled tutorials, which are necessary for you to go through. The tutorial folder is situated under the start menu (bottom left-hand corner of the screen). If you encounter any problems while working on the tablet, you can hit the F1 key to access the Help menu.

All PC tablets are equipped with Windows Journal, OneNote and Sticky Notes and all these applications are stylus-enables, giving you the option to use your handwriting and convert it into text whenever you like. You may need some time to get familiar with these applications. The tablet also includes a Track Point, positioned in the middle of the keyboard, which functions as a mouse pad. You have the option of enabling the Track Point to identify click and double click. PC tablets by Lenovo feature a small wireless button positioned at the front of the devise and beneath the latch. This button needs to be switched on at all times.

When the screen of your tablet is laid flat, you will no longer be able to use the keyboard apart from a handful of buttons. The main button is the one that allows you to alter the screen orientation. If you press this button repeatedly, you can move from landscape to portrait for up to four distinguished screen orientations. There is also a way to mechanize the rotation of the screen to allow it to determine the right position by itself; however, some people may find this feature unpleasant. You should always keep in mind that the screen only rotates one way as pointed by the arrow.

It's advisable to avoid holding the Lenovo tablet from the extended battery (rear end) as this position isn't very sturdy and there is a risk that it may break.
