Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E220s Review Video Clips. Duration : 9.23 Mins.

booredatwork.com Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com Empireavenue: www.empireavenue.com The Lenovo E220s is a 12.1" Notebook from lenovo, that showcase the growth and majority of the company and the ThinkPad line of laptop. Which is well revered in the business world as a reliable on the go PC. The ThinkPad E220s is design in the same ultrabook vein as the ideaPad U260. Its got a 12.5" screen with a resolution of 1366x768 resolution, running window s7 Professional, 4GB DDR3 memory, 320GB HDD, builtin 720P webcam, standard ThinkPad keyboard and mouse pad and weights only 3.22LBS with a 43Whr battery Design Yes this maybe be a business laptop, but Lenovo did take its time in crafting this beauty, with a Soft matted top that has an LED indicator built into the ThinkPad logo. To the full fleshed out Lenovo keyboard with chicklet style keys that is very familiar and well laid out. The chrome trimming on the edges give it a very classic look. That expresses a sense of urgency that the system looks to provide to the user. The battery is non removable, but it does come with 2 USB 2.0, as well as an e-sata/USB port, HDMI-out, card reader, VGA port and a single headphone/speaker jack. Using The ThinkPad E220s feels and operates like a ThinkPad, which is a good thing. The keys are so well spaced for a smaller sized laptop, you tend to forget its only 12.5". The ThinkPad E220s runs surprisingly cool, using Intel's advanced cooling tech., you can barely hear the cooling ...

Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Review

Lenovo Think Pad has been very popular among the business community for the past couple of years. Every single year the brilliant and intelligent brains unite at Lenovo where a new kick ass, Think Pad comes to life. Nonetheless this year it also wasn't any exception and a new era of genius technology has been again implemented into the all new ThinkPad X220.

The new ThinkPad X220 is integrated with the just released Intel Sandy Bridge Processor. Which even a core 2 duo with enough to provide very rapid and flashy speed but the folks at Lenovo took it to another level and equipped this machine with a Core i5 Sandy Bridge 2.7 GHz processor. To further extend the magnificence they also threw in an 8 GB DDR3 RAM.

Lenovo Notebook

As the ThinkPad is purely meant for business users or the ones who need speed on the way, and because of that there wasn't any need of a video/graphic card and off course it will be shared memory for that. That surely is a con of this laptop but however it is quite fast to provide you average graphics and casual video editing.

This incredible device also has a led back lit 1366 by 768 IPS display, the name is not so attractive but the colors on this screen are outstanding, it is really very close to nature and life. It also has a six cell battery which roughly gives you more than 8 hours of nonstop performance.

Coming towards the design, I do not think Lenovo owns a designer for ThinkPad because for exactly for 10 years we are continuously have been boned to see the mat black out dated design which has not been changed except it is being made thinner every year. It's more likely has become a uniform than of a design. We may hope that next year they do make some change but realistically speaking I do not see it happening. The pro users do not care because they need performance and ThinkPad knows how to provide that appease the users. Not to mention this device is quite rugged and rock hard, which makes it an ideal machine for rough users.

Furthermore, it also has an Express4 card, 4in one card slot, 3.0 USB port, finger print scanner and an extra battery add on to provide more battery time that you can imagine of. The battery add on is free with the device but if you want it separately then it is worth 149$. Despite of so many specs this device weighs around 1.4 pounds including the battery add on. The conclusion is that this device is the most portable device of its kind which makes it a must buy for performance devotees.

Lenovo X300 Laptop Review

Lenovo is a great brand name manufacturer of laptops. You will be hard pressed to find laptop models from Lenovo which are of inferior quality. In this article, we will take a look at the Lenovo X300 laptop, one of the latest models to be released by Lenovo.

1. Overview
The first thing you notice about the Lenovo X300? Its price. At 00 street, it is certainly not a cheap laptop. However, it goes head-to-head with the Apple MacBook Air in terms of weight- except that it has all the sensible, solid computing features a business traveler would need.

Lenovo Notebook

A few other things about the X300 - it comes with an integrated WWAN modem, a GPS chip, and a next-generation WiMax wireless chip. You also get standard 802.11n wireless, and the machine comes with Bluetooth 2.0.

2. Design
The Lenovo X300 comes in with measurements of 9 x 12 x 0.9 inches. That makes it thicker than the MacBook Air - however, once you consider the features in the X300, you'll realize what engineering went on behind the machine.

Besides a built-in optical drive, a 13.3-inch display and a full-size keyboard, you also get a magnesium alloy composite chassis (a common feature in all ThinkPads).

The Lenovo X300 also comes with a 64GB SSD (solid-state drive). Now that SSD is the reaons why the laptop is priced at a premium. You get speed with an SSD drive, but the storage capacity suffers because the price-per-megabyte for a SSD is simply too high.

3. Display
The 13.3-inch display screen has a 1440 x 900 resolution, which is unprecedented in almost every other ultraportable. Most other laptops come with a 1280 x 800 resolution.

3. Keyboard and Other Controls
The full-size keyboard on the Lenovo X300 is great for typing on. If you've used ThinkPads before, you will find the X300 keyboard to be right there in terms of comfort. You also get a TrackPoint pointing stick and a slightly compressed touchpad.

4. Ports and Connections
The Lenovo X300 comes with three USB 2.0 ports, but it lacks a Firewire and S-Video port. You have one VGA-out (unlike the ASUS U6S which has a HDMI port). All in all, those ports are more than enough for the business user.

5. Battery Life
The X300 is one of the longest lasting laptops I've seen. It provides, using its low-voltage CPU, over 5 hours of battery life. In comparison, the MacBook Air gave only around 3 hours. The machine is also PC Magazine GreenTech Approved for its power efficiency.

6. Shortcomings
The Lenovo X300 does not have many shortcomings - perhaps the only outstanding one would be the presence of the SSD. Instead of the pricey SSD, I feel that I could live with a bulkier laptop (with a conventional hard drive), plus all the other features found in the X300.

Conclusion
The Lenovo X300 is a powerhouse in terms of mobile computing. With its feature set, it will be a long time before a business traveler looks for another laptop. The only gripe is the pricey 64GB SSD - but if you or your company can overlook this, the Lenovo X300 is simply one of the best business laptops around.

Lenovo Ideapad s10 Personal Review - my aces over eee pc msi aspire one

Lenovo Ideapad s10 Personal Review - my aces over eee pc msi aspire one Tube. Duration : 4.88 Mins.

I will let my voice review in the video speak for itself but i have finally found the perfect netbook laptop for me. I opted for the larger ram and hard drive version 1 gig ram - 160 Hard drive. because i heard at least 30-40 gig would be in use for the recover system. and it was true. It has the look, feel and performance i was looking for. the awesome textured black with a traditional look and feel has finally stopped me from looking for another netbook for now. it feels very solid and professional not like a toy or fragile like the aspire one or the eee pc i had. of the tests i did it rated higher then both my eee pc 1000h or my aspire one. i didn't test my msi because i returned it right after getting it as i didn't like the design to be honest. but this one has won it over for me. i'll do another video with more light. i did this video because i had the time t do it. so another will follow in a few days.

Lenovo ThinkPad T61 Review - Is the T61 the Perfect Lenovo ThinkPad

As more computer users switch to laptops and notebooks, the Lenovo ThinkPad has increased in popularity. Amazingly the Lenovo ThinkPad came through for yet another generation with the ThinkPad T61, one of the last models of its kind and yet still durable and better as the models designed before it.

Some of the options and features of the Lenovo ThinkPad T61 are:
Intel T7100 to T7800 Up to 4 GB of Ram Maximum of 200 GB Intel turbo memory, wireless X3100 graphics card Operating System Windows Vista Ultimate Weight 4 pounds

Lenovo Notebook

Although many of these features alone are enough to make an individual realize that this is the perfect ThinkPad, the Lenovo literally goes above and beyond features and expectations. The T61 delivers all the typical ports, including FireWire and both PC Card and ExpressCard slots, but there's still no memory card reader. As for security, this notebook offers a fingerprint reader for use with the standard TPM circuitry. And security-conscious businesses will appreciate the ability to disable the I/O ports in the BIOS to prevent data from being off-loaded.

However, there are some pros and cons to consider as well. In all fairness, these should also be addressed and yet they are nothing compared to the features and usage the Lenovo ThinkPad will provide an individual.

Pros:
Excellent performance Magnesium alloy outside behind LCD enhances durability Best laptop keyboard available Bright widescreen
Cons:
Short endurance with standard battery Loud optical drive No memory card reader

Obviously, there is a big difference in opinion as far as the popularity of the Lenovo T61 ThinkPad is regarded. There are several individuals who use this model already and are in awe with the performance, as well as the experience it gives. In addition, there are several accessories that can be purchased separately to accommodate the Lenovo T61 ThinkPad.

For more information, there are several web sites via the Internet that offer details about the Lenovo T61 ThinkPad and the many features it really has to offer. It has essentially the best balance of portability and usability as compared to others, and in the computer industry today these are some major factors that are ultimately taken into consideration when an individual is potentially in the market for purchasing one.

Some of these web sites have the different models as well, so doing a comparison is rather easy to do as well. The listings for the models have also have pricing and other accessories that are associated with that specific model , too. It is important to keep into consideration the concept that not all of the models are going to have the same features, therefore reading some of the descriptions will also help in your decision. Some models of the Lenovo are available to even be purchased via the Internet on various web sites too.

Remember, should you choose to essentially purchase the Lenovo ThinkPad T61 from one of the web sites via the Internet, choose a reliable vendor that offers low-cost shipping, service and support, and a 90-day warranty policy.

Lenovo G560 Laptop Review

The Lenovo G560 is a great laptop that prides itself on saving users' time as it can effectively perform multi-tasking. I bought my own when it was released and have never felt regret. It's a great laptop with great specifications and features. This 15.6-inch laptop has a big screen making it an excellent desktop replacement laptop for your home or office. I have always loved Lenovo (previously IBM) laptops. They are sturdy, practical and not to mention extremely durable.

The key to a fast laptop is its processor. The Lenovo G560 comes with a 2.13GHz Intel Core i-3-330M processor which is a very good processor. For its price, this is a real bargain. In addition to that, it comes with 4GB of RAM. Again, for its price, there are very few laptops that provide this much amount of RAM for the users. These two features are the key to speeding up the computer and making multi-tasking possible without any issues.

Lenovo Notebook

One cool thing I find that the Lenovo G560 has that many don't is the mini number pad. I have been using a desktop before this and have accustomed myself to inputting numbers using the number pad. Most laptops don't have a number pad which I find a little inconvenient. The Lenovo G560's number pad is a really cool feature that may seem silly or redundant but was one of the key features that drew my attention towards it. It's also suitable for gaming as many games allow the usage of number pad as hot-keys.

Another feature that I find very useful is the face recognition feature. I now feel safer leaving my laptop around knowing that only I can access it. I have set it so that only my family members and I are able to log-in to my laptop. There are many other features that make it an extraordinary budget laptop such as 3 USB ports, an HDMI-out port, an ExpressCard/34 slot and a five-format media-card reader. It also comes with a 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi radio and the Gigabit Ethernet port.

So how to we like this laptop series? Like every other laptop user in the market, we care about the looks, the performance, specs and price of a laptop. After reviewing the Lenovo G560, we all agreed that is has a perfect balance of good looks, functionality and affordability. In conclusion, the Lenovo G560 is a great laptop to get. We give it a 5/5.

Lenovo IdeaPad U110 Review - Ideapad U110 is a Laptop to Love

If you are hoping to snag a quality Lenovo for under two thousand dollars, then the Lenovo IdeaPad U110 is one you should consider. Here are some of the terrific features that make the Idea Pad U110 worth purchasing:
At three pounds, when it is fully loaded, it offers a lot of ease and convenience for those who have to carry their notebooks everywhere.  This one even comes with a cover sleeve when you purchase it. You can choose from a couple of colors to break out of the all black laptop theme. The IdeaPad has Bluetooth capability and also has A/B/G processing for WIFI purposes. It offers you a grand flexibility with USB ports and memory card and express readers as well as your usual ports that will support Ethernet and Fire wire. The total resolutions for the screen are (1368x768) and the display lacks a bit of sharpness as a result. The nice sizing of the keyboard does make it really easy to work on even in less than optimum lighting.  The Idea pad U110 has a 2GB DDR2 RAM and also offers an Intel GMA X3100 graphic card. The processor is a 1.6GHz Intel Core 2Duo L7500 and you should not have anything to complain about with speed. You will love the cool VeriFace log in that comes as a built in feature. This uses your face to log in so your data is going to be kept safe and secure from any prying eyes. This identification process is made easy because the Lenovo IdeaPad U110 also comes with an integrated webcam as a standard feature.

Some of the very minor weak points of the Idea Pad U110 include:
One thing you will notice about this model is that it does tend to show fingerprints both on the case and the keyboard so keep a dry cloth handy if you want to keep it looking clean. Some people may not appreciate the fact that the housing case and the keyboard so readily attract fingerprints but this is not an insurmountable problem by any means. You do not get an internal optical drive on this model but you do have an external optical drive. The sound quality on the Lenovo IdeaPad U110 is a bit weak but functional. You also have both a 4 cell and a 7 cell battery with the IdeaPad and these do not show some of the power qualities that are on similar competitors. You will probably end up with about two hour's time on your 4 cell and maybe double that on the 7 cell. This is not a great amount of time and this is one of the drawbacks present with this particular series. If you are going to buy the IdeaPad U110 be wary of the short time on the battery life charge.

For those needing an affordable laptop that offers a good variety of service and features the Lenovo IdeaPad U110 can certainly more than fulfill their expectations. It does not have all of the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive products but it does have a tough little workhouse performance capability that you will appreciate.
