This is a Mafia 2 benchmark ran on the Lenovo Edge E520 with dedicated graphics(6630M 1gb). As you can see in the video the settings are on low, but this is purely to make the video look a tad smooth as fraps effects the fps a hell of a lot. vsync was off with all benchmarks I ran. Why? It's stupid and pointless when fps is less than 60(being the refresh rate for the screen). All tests were ran at native resolution, being 1366x768. With Fraps( AA = off, AF = 1x, S = Low, AO = off, GD = off, AP = off): 23 avg Without Fraps( AA = off, AF = 1x, S = Low, AO = off, GD = off, AP = off): 35.5 avg (Before fire it was roughly 55 avg) Without Fraps(AA = on, AF = 8x, S = high, AQ = on, GD = high, AP = off) 18.8 avg (Before fire it was roughly 28 avg) Without Fraps(AA = on, AF = 8x, S = high, AQ = on, GD = high, AP = high) 10.2 avg Fraps settings: 30 fps and full size. There really isn't much of a difference between the highest settings bar AA. I prefer using the second benchmark settings with AA turned on. I played the entire game on the settings used in the video. Why? I didn't bother to change it as stated above the difference between settings really isn't that much.
